Andrea Smith-Pearson
Whole School Reform Math Liaison

Andrea Smith-Pearson holds the position of Whole School Reform Math Liaison for Atlanta Public Schools. Her duties and responsibilities are to provide instructional support in the area of mathematics for approximately nineteen schools, grades K-8.

Andrea's other instructional experiences include teaching Algebra and Pre-Algebra to seventh and eighth grade students. She is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Clark Atlanta University, and a pioneer host of public broadcasting station's "MindBusters," an educational program geared to providing homework assistance and enrichment activities for middle grades students.

Andrea received her B.A. in Mathematics from Spelman College and a M.Ed in Math Education from Clark Atlanta University. She has done extended coursework in Leadership from West Georgia College & State University.
