A Student's Tale

Carthy tells his own version of "How Chicken Noodle Soup was Created." He has developed a fun story, with many details. You might show this clip to your class and have them critique it, beginning with what Carthy does well. Then ask them to discuss what they might change to improve the piece, in terms of pace, voices, facial expression, and gestures. Allow some students to practice the story and retell it in class.
